Nassau Grouper (Epiephelus striatus) Family: Grouper/Seabass - Serranidae
Groupers tend to hang out in the shadows and ledges. The Nassau grouper has two visual characteristics for easy identification. The front of their dorsal fin is notched between the spines. Also, they have a black spot in the saddle leading to their tale.1
